A hickory shafted beauty; the Tom Morris Elect Model, by Tad Moore. I never played with a hickory shafted putter (or used any hickory shafted club for that matter). That's something I'll have to rectify. I think a putter might be a good place to start. This little beauty makes my heart race a little bit.

That's a putter? It's so small and there's no lumps or lines or nothing! How am I supposed to know which part to hit the ball with?
I believe that putters is the one area of golf technology that has gotten the most out of hand. At least drivers and irons and even the balls still have the same basic shapes.

Indeed. I'll pass on the gizmos, just give me a sleek blade or a trusty old brass Ping or Bullseye.
I use an older Acushnet Brass Bulls Eye flat stick too! I don't get distracted with wings, round white circles behind the blade, hooks, bright chrome or other unusual colours on the putter head. Simple is best for me!
I'm with you Max. A simple blade that I can swing well, that's what I look for.
