Free Drop - a blog on the rules of golf. While many golfers like to complain about golf's complicated, and sometimes strange rules, I happen to appreciate them. They're very much a part of what give the game it's great character.

The Golf Girl's Diary: "Depression Era Golf Fashion - Not Very Depressing." No, in fact they were very elegant and attractive in a completely ladylike way. Personally, I think the golfer-Barbie look that's becoming popular on the LPGA tour isn't particularly attractive. Anna Rawson, on the other hand, knows how to apply vintage styling cues to a modern woman's golfing wardrobe. I'm definitely looking forward to seeing a lot more of her now that she's secured her tour card for 2009.
