Coolest Golf Bags Ever

Image - MacKenzie Golf Bag Company

When it comes to golf, I'm obviously an unabashed throwback. I think course architecture peaked in the 1920s. I dream about blade irons and persimmon woods. Tiger Woods is great, but for me Bobby Jones is still the man. Maybe that's why I like these simple, elegant MacKenzie bags. There's nothing better than slinging your sticks over your shoulder and walking eighteen holes on a brisk afternoon in early October. Why not do so with a bag that's appropriately stylish for the occasion? I have the worst itch to get one of these. They aren't cheap, but the best never is.

I live reasonably close to the oldest golf course in North America which is Niagara-on-the- Lake, Ontario. It's only 9 holes but I remember(over 40 years ago) playing golf in the fall with 7 clubs and a over the shoulder bag very similiar to the MacKenzie golf bag(just alot smaller!) The course is situated on the south shore of lake Ontario. It was an easier game to play back then - fewer clubs and carried! Gary Player says that," memories are the cushion of life!"

That sounds like a cool course.

When I played high school golf I carried a very simple bag and only 11 clubs. It never even occurred to me that I wasn't carrying all the clubs I was allowed. I carried the clubs I needed. Over twenty years later, I finally realized that the reason my bag felt so light back then was because I carried so few clubs! I dropped out three clubs and boy did my bag get light again! And I played fine with eleven clubs - my score didn't suffer and I had just as much fun as ever.
